Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree specializing in Accounting/Finance. Ten (10) years experience in progressively responsible positions in accounting and financial management. Strong analytical background in budgeting and forecasting at the group level, superior organizational skills and a broad business perspective. Familiarity with Teleflex Medical product lines and corporate structure helpful, but not required. Ability to interface with senior executive staff and develop appropriate ad hoc reports as requested. High level of competency in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Hyperion preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Qualification Requirements
Under direction, to plan, organize and direct the company's worldwide financial reporting to provide timely Corporate financial results. Provide management with information and analysis tools to support executive decision making processes. Develop systems and techniques as appropriate for world-wide financial management reporting, interfacing directly with Teleflex Corporate Financial Reporting. Provide functional interface for SBU Controllers during group consolidation activities.
Preferred Qualifications
Possession of a certificate as a Certified Public Accountant or completion of MBA program is also preferred.
Responsibilities
Coordinate preparation and consolidation of worldwide monthly business unit reporting, including but not limited to Income Statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Reports, CAPEX Spending and Periodic Forecast vs. Plan Analysis. Responsible for Monthly Hyperion reporting for Teleflex Medical worldwide. Make recommendations to management regarding cost saving or profit generating opportunities and profitability improvement strategies. Assist in due diligence as required. Support annual budget process. Special projects and report responsibilities as assigned.
