Educational Requirements
High school degree or equivalent
Experience Requirements
Knowledge of basic machines and controls, measuring devices, extrusion basics, controllers, basic electric, blueprints, schematics, hydraulics and pneumatics.
Qualification Requirements
1-3 years in any of the following trades: electrical, mechanical, plumbing, hydraulic, pneumatics. Vocational and/or technical courses.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands on knowledge of blow-fill machines in a manufacturing/medical device environment.
Responsibilities
Work from production schedules, procedures, manuals, specifications and instructions. Start blow fill machines and support equipment such as stills, boilers, air compressors, cooling tower and steam generators. Perform clean in process and steam sterilization. Troubleshoot, make minor repairs and adjustments to machines.
