Educational Requirements
High school degree or equivalent
Experience Requirements
Three years minimum CNC machining center experience -Five years minimum general machine shop experience.
Qualification Requirements
Work from prints, specifications and job layouts. Use a variety of precision measuring instruments. Goals with high degree of independence and initiative. Complete job requirements in a timely manner.
Preferred Qualifications
One year Polishing / finishing experience.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate assigned machines in cell area to produce a quality finished product as per print and kanban requirements. Make adjustments to machines as needed. Select speeds and feeds, determine operational sequence and tooling arrangements. Perform additional operations to parts as required (i.e. washing, deburring, polishing).Create and maintain accurate data for company organizational records.Perform routine total preventive maintenance on equipment in cell.
